Stewing and Brewing

It's a sad day in Steeler Country. The Bengals came into town and beat us on our own turf. That's our second lose to Cincinnati this year. Needless to say this definitely affected our consumption. Not only of alcohol but also of the dish I cooked up. This week was a hearty pork beer stew. I found the recipe awhile back on recipe.com Here is the link. http://www.recipe.com/hearty-pork-beer-stew/ I chose this recipe today because I knew that the weather would be nice and that I would want to get out and do some riding in the morning before the game. So last night I went down to Giant Eagle and bought the required ingredients. This morning I put it all together, and by game time I had an excellent meal going on. It was excellent when you put it together with High Life. It was a little weird eating a stew that had sweet potatoes in it but it was actually quite tasty. This would actually be a great dinner when the weather gets cold. I know that this won't be the last time I make this recipe. And I recommend that you all give it a chance.

Enjoy.

  2. Ah! Please don't mention the loss. It may have been one of the worst days in the Steeler Nation. We are going to really have to work to make it into the playoffs. What do you think about Troy's injury? I hope he isn't out long. We all know what happens when he is gone.

  3. Yes, it is a terrible injury. I feel that this week coming against the Ravens will be even worse. No Ben.
